Campaign Setup and Go live

Platform is not allowing me to save the tracking link, why is it so?

Please make sure your tracking URL is redirecting to the landing page filled by you on the platform. If it’s not redirecting to the landing page filled by you, it will not allow you to proceed. Also once the campaign is live and we find that the tracking URL has stopped redirecting to the designated landing page, we will pause the campaign and an email notification will be sent to you.


I have done bidding, why the campaign is not getting live?

There can be multiple reasons for this. If you have done CPI bidding and we haven’t received the install post back from your end, campaigns cannot go live. Also, if you have enabled goal optimization for the campaign and if we haven’t received the goal event postback, the campaign can’t go live. It is also possible that you have exhausted your daily and total budget and the campaign has been paused now. If you have exhausted your total budget, you can no longer resume the campaign. Please set up a new campaign and proceed further. If we find that your campaign tracking URL is not taking to the designated landing page set by you at the campaign level, we will pause the campaign and campaign will not be taken live. Please contact support@tyroo.com for such cases.


I have done CPI bidding, why the campaign status is not changing to awaiting?

When you do CPI bidding, the system waits for an install event from your side. So please perform the install on a device by clicking on the link in the email that you have received. Once our system receives the install event, it will change the campaign status to “Awaiting”. Post that your account manager will approve the campaign and the campaign status will change to “Running” and it will be ready to go live.


When can I see impression/clicks being delivered to my campaign?

Once your campaign is live, you can see the impression and clicks being delivered to your campaign. You might see a delay of up to 1-2-hour post campaign status has been changed to “Running”. It takes some time as the system needs to push the campaigns on various publishers. If you still don’t see any impression or click on your campaign, it might be possible that your bid is too low. Please increase the bid in such case. If you see further issue, please contact support@tyroo.com


I am not getting emails related to my campaigns, what can I do?

Please check if you have enabled the checkbox “Allow emails” in your profile section. In case it is checked and still, you are not receiving the postbacks, please contact support@tyroo.com


I have got an email stating that my campaign has been automatically paused because of invalid tracking link. What should I do?

Please set up a new campaign with a correct tracking link and landing page. The paused campaign cannot be resumed.


I need to add one more user to my account, how can I do that?

Please contact your account manager or support@tyroo.com for adding a new user to your account.


I have VAST 2.0, can I set up a campaign?

Yes, you can set up a campaign using VAST 2.0, however, it's highly recommended to use VAST 3.0 or 4.0.


Budget and Bidding

I have set bid for my campaign, why I can’t see any impression for my campaign?

It’s possible that your bid is too low. Please try increasing the bids. Also please make sure that the campaign has “Running” status.


I want to change the total budget of the campaign, but system is not allowing this, what can I do?

You cannot update the total budget once you have saved the campaign. In case you need to change it, please set up a different campaign.


There is CPV bidding, what does this mean?

CPV bidding means as an advertiser you will pay when a user has viewed the video Ad. View in our system is defined as when a user watches 25% of the video.


There is CPCV bidding, what does this mean?

CPCV bidding means as an advertiser you will pay when a user has watched the video ad to 100%.


There is CPM bidding, what does this mean?

CPM Bidding means as an advertiser you will pay for every 1000 impressions of a video.


Goal event and Optimization

I don’t understand what I need to fill in the goal name?

Goal event is the event for which you would want to optimize. For example, even though you are placing your bids on cost per click, you might want to optimize for install. In such cases, you can fill the goal event name at your end and map it to our goal event name. If the goal event name for “install” at your end is “INSTALL”, please fill INSTALL in the input box. For the goal events, you need to set up post back for Tyroo.


I need to optimize my campaign for a goal, what can I do?

You can choose a goal event while setting up the campaign. You need to fill goal event name at your end and enable the goal event post back for us. For goal events like clicks, Video Views, Video completed, 25% Video View, 50% Video View, 75% Video View, there is no need to set up goal event post back as we can track these events at our end. For other goal events, you need to enable goal event post back.


I have set my goal event, but my campaign status is not changing to awaiting?

In case you have set up a goal event, you need to send the goal event to our system by enabling the goal event post back. For example, if the goal event was registration, please enable the goal event post back from your end. Click on the test link received your email, and perform an install, post that reach the goal event stage and take the specific action. Once our system receives the goal event postback, it will change the campaign status to “Awaiting”. After this, your account manager will approve the campaign and the campaign status will change to “Running” and it will be ready to go live.

I am not integrated with renowned MMP’s like Tune, Appsflyer, Kochava, Adjust, Apsalar/Singular, how can I set up my campaigns?

Please select “Others” while setting up the campaign and connect to support@tyroo.com for setting up the post back.


I use my own platform for tracking and attribution, what’s the install postback I need to implement?

How can I enable postbacks on TUNE, Appsflyer, Cake, Kochava, and Apsalar/Singular?

Tyroo is already integrated with these partners. You need to select Tyroo from the drop-down on MMPs and enable the postbacks.
